A world of dialogue

Practical exercises on dialogue is an important part of the Nansen Dialogue Summer School.
The Nansen Dialogue Summer School had participants from Africa, South and North America, Asia and Europe.

The International Summer School at the University of Oslo is gathering hundreds of students from all over the world. Some of them came to the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue, to learn the art of asking questions and to understand how to manage conflicts through dialogue.

Bosnia-Herzegovina: While children celebrate the cohesion, several politicians play on disunity. Recently, hundreds of children attended a happening in the town of Prijedor.

Participants attending the Nansen Facilitation Training were clear on their feedback on their views on how and why this training was useful for their work. Some of them work in countries affected by conflict, such as Afghanistan, Somalia, Ukraine. Others have challenges in other non-conflict related situations in Norway or Denmark, where dialogue can be used to increase social cohesion and participation.
