The Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue provides training capacity to communities and leaders and develops innovative dialogue initiatives, to enhance capacity, leadership and political will for dialogue for peace.
We promote, disseminate and facilitate dialogue and good practices, to support and inform affected communities, relevant decision making institutions and a general audience interested in peace.

One-day dialogue course
These courses offers a brief introduction to dialogue and address themes such as values, beliefs and prejudices, how they contribute to conflict, and offers conflict management tools. Please contact us for information on how to commission this course.
Example of course program
Recurring one-day dialogue training sessions
A series of one-day dialogue sessions, often held in extended community projects. The sessions uses a variety of topics and dialogue tools. Depending on the number of sessions they attend, this modality can serve as a basic foundation for our Five-day Intensive Dialogue Facilitator Training (see below). Five-day Intensive Dialogue Training
This training gives a thorough introduction to dialogue tools and methods, including practices on dialogue facilitation sessions. If participants would like to advance further, they must enrol to our Five-day Intensive Dialogue Facilitator Training . Please contact us for information for information on next scheduled training and on how to commission this training.
Five-day Advanced Intensive Dialogue Training
This training is currently being developed, and builds upon participation in the five day intensive dialogue training. It is aimed at dialogue facilitators and are open to the public, but the participants must have either participated in the intensive dialogue training, or have worked as dialogue facilitators, all of which which will have to be documented.
